Beautiful Black Creek Sanctuary

Biking, hiking, boating and fishing in scenic wilderness

Just a few steps from your luxurious vacation townhome, the Black Creek winds through a pristine, protected wetland sanctuary. If you’re quiet and still, you may see wildlife, waterfowl, and fish that make their homes in and around the clear water.

Less than four miles up the road, the award-winning Black Creek Historical Site commemorates the Nanticoke Leni-Lenape tribe settlement here. Revered to this day by Native Americans, this site has been extensively researched and found to have been been continuously inhabited for up to 10,000 years. There is a walking trail and outdoor classroom, and for history buffs, many recovered artifacts are on display at the Vernon Township Historical Society Museum.

Walkers, hikers and cyclists can enjoy many local trails, bicycle and walking paths and scenic byways. Boaters, kayakers, paddle boarders and fishing enthusiasts have dozens of waterways and lakes to check out.

There’s something for everyone to enjoy. Get started today, and book your stay with us!
